Yowza. At least Wordpress is more human-readable than this. The parser isn't so nice, can't seem to get a simple 2 column deal going on using "float".
But I do have to say that a nice black background color really makes a photograph stand out.
UPDATE: Success! It seems I need to put a nested div tag into the mainWrapper with a float element. Now it fills the whole browser. Tested in IE and Firefox.
